Your crew's day, ordered by drive time
Correction: automatic ordering by drive time was announced before it worked in production, and is not available yet. Setting a crew day's order by hand does work.
Correction, 19 August 2026. This entry said automatic routing was live. It was not. The feature was built and tested, but the connection to the mapping service it needs was never finished in production, so Optimize now could not have worked for you. Setting the order by hand does work, and always has. We are sorry. We would rather tell you this than let the page keep saying something untrue.

A crew's day can be ordered by real drive time instead of the order you happened to schedule it. Tap Optimize now and the stops reorder for the shortest route, or set the order by hand when you know the day better than the map does.
Setting your yard as the start and the end of the day lives in Organization settings in the mobile app. The web version of that screen is not built yet, which this entry also did not say.
Turn by turn still hands off to Apple Maps or Google Maps through Directions. This orders the day, it does not track anyone.
