Every job, from draft to done
The Jobs tab splits into Estimates and Work orders, and every job shows its step in a six stage life from Draft to Done. Complete, reopen, or cancel from one place.
The Jobs tab now has two sides, Estimates and Work orders, and every job shows exactly where it sits in a six step life: Draft, Sent, Accepted, Scheduled, In progress, Done. A plain line under the track says where it stands right now, like Sent 3 days ago or In progress, 0 of 1 done.
A job moves to In progress when somebody clocks in, not before. Service lines get ticked off in the field or by you. Once every line is done, Complete job appears, and completing is always a deliberate act, never something the crew triggers by finishing. Changed your mind? Reopen puts it back.
One housekeeping note: an estimate and a work order are the same record over its life, so every identifier now reads JOB-#### instead of EST-####. The numbers, the links you already shared, and the customer facing proposals did not change.
