Species identification knows where it is and what grows there
Identification now runs on the latest generation model and weighs the property's location and the species already found on the same site, so a desert ornamental no longer comes back as a river tree.
Species identification now runs on the latest generation model with sharper image understanding, and it uses context it did not before:
- It knows where it is. Before naming a tree, the AI knows where the property is and weighs species that actually grow there. A desert ornamental will no longer come back as a river tree.
- It knows the property. It also sees which species were already identified on the same site, since properties are usually planted in repeating groups.
