One record, from the photo to the payment
Most software for this trade starts at the customer and the line item, so the trees end up as a note somebody typed. Start at the tree instead and the rest follows: the estimate line records which trees it covers, the crew opens the same tree the estimator photographed, and the invoice bills the work that was done to it.
