Ask Claude about your trees
Connect Claude, Cursor or Codex to your account in about a minute. Ask which sites have oaks due a crown clean, or what you quoted the last removal at, without opening the app. Read only by default.
You can now let Claude, Cursor or Codex read your trees, sites and estimates, so you can ask about your work instead of going and looking it up.
Go to Settings, then Connect an assistant. Pick where you use it, pick what it is allowed to do, press Create connection, and copy the block it gives you. The screen tells you exactly where that block goes and what to restart. There is nothing to install and nothing to download.
Then ask it something. Which sites have oaks that need a crown clean. What you quoted the last removal at. How many customers you have. It reads the same information you see in the app, for your organization only.
Read only is the default, and it is the right place to start. It answers questions and changes nothing. The second option also lets it add customers and sites and write draft estimates, which is useful when you are working from a spreadsheet somebody emailed you. Neither one can send an invoice to a customer. That stays deliberate, on the API keys screen, where you have to go and choose it.
Nothing deletes. There is no way for an assistant to remove a record, void an invoice or cancel a job, because we did not build one.
The connection is a key, so treat it like one. It is shown once, when you create it, and the block you copy has it inside. If you lose it, come back and make another. If you want to cut one off, revoke it on the API keys screen and it stops working on the next request.
ChatGPT does not work yet. It connects from OpenAI's servers rather than your computer, so it needs a sign in flow instead of a key. We are building that. The four above work today.
