Arboris can see the money side now

Ask who owes you and get real invoices back, with balances, due dates and days overdue. Pull up an estimate by its number. Per site tree counts are now exact instead of guessed from pin numbers.

Arboris answering “Who owes me money right now, and how overdue are they?” with a total owed, two invoices by number with their balances and due dates, and a note that neither is overdue yet.

Arboris could always tell you about your trees. Now it can tell you about your money. Open Arboris and ask “who owes me right now” and you get the actual invoices back: who, how much is still outstanding, when it is due, and how many days past due it is if the date has gone by.

It reads a partly paid invoice correctly. If a customer has paid half, Arboris lists the remainder rather than the original total, so the number you are chasing is the number they still owe.

You can also pull up an estimate by its number. “Pull up estimate 49” returns the line items, the quantities, the total, and whether it has been sent or accepted yet. Before this, Arboris needed an internal id nobody has in their head. Now it takes the number printed on the estimate.

One fix worth calling out, because it was wrong in a way that was easy to miss. Asked how many trees were at each of a customer's sites, Arboris used to work it out from the highest pin number on the property. Pin numbers do not close up when you delete a tree, so any property with a gap came back overstated. It now reads the real count.

This is read only. Arboris will not create, send, or void an invoice, and it will not mark anything paid. It tells you where you stand so you can go and do something about it.
